Student Award BTSZ 2021
Het Belgisch Tijdschrift voor Sociale Zekerheid (BTSZ) organiseert ook in 2021 de Student Award om de meest verdienstelijke masterscripties inzake sociale zekerheid en sociale bescherming in de schijnwerpers te zetten.
Het BTSZ is een multidisciplinair, wetenschappelijk tijdschrift dat een divers doelpubliek informeert over sociale zekerheid en sociale bescherming in België binnen de Europese context.
Deelnemen is heel eenvoudig: de masterscriptie dient uiterlijk op 30 oktober 2021 digitaal te worden ingediend in Word en in pdf bij: yves.stevens@kuleuven.be, Koen.Vleminckx@minsoc.fed.be en Roland.VanLaere@minsoc.fed.be
De deelnemers letten er op dat ze in Word en in pdf een identieke versie bezorgen.
Voorwaarden en algemene info:
- De deelname aan de Student Award staat open voor studenten en net afgestudeerde studenten, ingeschreven in een Belgische onderwijsinstelling.
- De masterproef of masterscriptie dient een thema van sociale zekerheid of sociale bescherming te behandelen, ze wordt verdedigd in het academiejaar 2020-2021 en is opgesteld in het Nederlands, Frans, Duits of Engels.
- De selectie gebeurt door het redactiecomité van het BTSZ en de prijs wordt uitgereikt door de minister van sociale zaken.
- De drie beste werken (finalisten) worden integraal gepubliceerd op de website van het BTSZ.
- De eerste prijs bedraagt 1000 EUR, de 2 andere laureaten ontvangen elk 250 EUR.

Once again, the Belgisch Tijdschrift voor Sociale Zekerheid – Revue belge de sécurité sociale (BTSZ/RBSS) (Belgian Review on Social Security) is organising in 2021 the BTSZ/RBSS Student Award to highlight the most deserving master's theses in the field of social security and social protection.
The BTSZ/RBSS is a multidisciplinary, scientific journal that informs a diverse target audience about social security and social protection in Belgium within the European context.
If your thesis deals with a theme related to social protection, be sure to submit your application for the BTSZ/RBSS Student Award 2021.
Participating is very simple: if you meet the participation conditions (see below), simply send your master’s thesis in Word and in Pdf formats to the e-mail address provided, at the latest on 30 October 2021.
Conditions of participation and info information:
- Participation in the "BTSZ/RBSS Student Award 2021" is open to students and recent graduates enrolled with a Belgian educational institution.
- The master’s thesis or dissertation has to deal with a social security or social protection theme. Its defence must take place during the academic year 2020-2021 and the languages accepted for its writing are Dutch, French, German and English.
- The master’s thesis must be submitted in electronic form (in Word and pdf formats) by 30 October 2021 at the latest to yves.stevens@kuleuven.be, Koen.Vleminckx@minsoc.fed.be and Roland.VanLaere@minsoc.fed.be. Candidates should ensure that they submit identical versions in Word and pdf formats.
- The selection will be made by the BTSZ/RBSS Editorial Board.
- The three best works (finalists) will be published in full on the BTSZ/RBSS website.
- The first prize is EUR 1000, the other 2 winners will each receive EUR 250.
